I created this challenge during Earth Day/Week at my school during Ohio's Stay-At-Home orders due to COVID-19. I wanted to come up with a craft that ALL students could participate in without having to leave their homes to purchase materials. I call it a "challenge" because (1) it's challenging! You have to use what you have to make something magnificent! And (2) because who doesn't love a little friendly competition (with no winners or losers of course!).
You will notice here soon that most of my crafts and recipes can be made without purchasing a ton of random supplies or ingredients. My goal is to make these as easily doable and accessible as possible! I hope you enjoy this EARTH LANDSCAPE CHALLENGE!
This video is meant for you and your kiddo to watch together. Enjoy!

Tips, Notes, & Extensions
Here is a forest landscape my 8-year-old sister-in-law made for her landscape challenge! I love her use of alternative ingredients and getting a few from nature to make her forest landscape truly unique!
You can extend this craft by making a different landscape with different crafting materials that you can find around your house!
I hope you decide to take part in this EARTH LANDSCAPE CHALLENGE!
You can post your kiddo's beautiful creations in the comments below.
I can't wait to see what you came up with!
